Left Books keeps records of customers in order to process orders; these are name, address, and a method of contact if any problems arise, normally telephone or email. To assist us in processing those orders online and to accept card payments, we use WooCommerce and PayPal. In addition, we use Mailchimp to maintain a mailing list for those interesting in hearing about upcoming titles and offers. We sell ebooks and paperbacks via Amazon.

Apart from the normal usage of Cookies to operate your basket and other essential selling issues, Left Books does not use cookies and will not pass on your data to any third party. Left Books is a trading name of Socialist Publications Limited.

At the start of the new financial year our records are anonymised. If you wish to have your data removed sooner, please contact us via email, call us on 020 8988 8777 or write to Left Books, PO Box 1398, Enfield EN1 9GT and we will remove those details within five working days – or within a fortnight of you placing the order, whichever is more relevant.
