All over the world young, working and poor people are fighting back and showing their potential might. It was young people at the forefront of the fight against the brutal Ben Ali dictatorship in Tunisia in January 2011. This movement spread like wildfire across the Arab world, first to Egyot then other countries like Libya. The once seemingly unbreakable dictatorships of Ben Ali, Mubarak and Gaddafi are now reduced to dust and ashes.

Taking inspiration from the protest camp in Tharir Square, Egypt, young people in Greece and Spain camped out in towns and cities in protest at sky-high levels of youth employment. This movement spread to Wall Street where young Americans protested against the greed and recklessness of the bankers and their system. Youth Fight for Jobs and Education seeks to bring that movement to Britain.
