Never before published in English, this exposure of the August 1936 frame-up trial in Moscow was written and published in the 'Bulletin of the Opposition' by Trotsky's son, Leon Sedov, while Trotsky was interned in Norway. It unmasks the Stalinist lies accusing Trotsky, Zinoviev, Kamenev and other Bolshevik leaders of the October Revolution of links with the Gestapo. Sedov analyses the court transcripts, demolishes the frame-up and explains the origins and political significance of the bloody Stalinist purges of the 1930s.
